Food Allergies x Mental Health
About
Diagnosed with allergies at the age of two, I have been vocal about how allergies have impacted both my physical and mental health.
A history of anaphylactic reactions that perpetuated severe and continued food anxiety ultimately led me to career in mental health. In comes All Things Allergies with a mission to both recognize and normalize mental illness within the allergy landscape.
I now hold a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Illinois. As of 2021, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with hopes of studying the intersectionality of food allergies and mental health.
